In Memory Of
Andrew Perkins
1986 - 2024
About Andrew...
It is hard to say goodbye. It is even harder when the person is young, and the loss is unexpected. For all his struggles though, Andrew was overflowing with passion and life. Even as we grieve, we need to remember that and to celebrate the incredible memories: the doggy playdates with him and Wicket; board game nights; hours spent talking, reminiscing; playing D&D...the list goes on and is unique for each person in his life.
Because we all knew Andrew in different ways. Many of us through his hobbies, some through his time in the military, school, and some were lucky enough to be family.
Andrew was a beacon of positivity, of energy and passion for things he cared for. He had a wickedly sharp mind, especially for strategy and tactics. He had a boundless love for his family and for Wicket, and shared that with his friends and chosen family too. He was also determined - despite the many challenges be faced throughout his life he remained resilient and resolute. He knew what he wanted and strove for it.
This is just one perspective though, one person's memories and experience of having Andrew in their life. And no one person's view could encompass all that he was, all that he did, or all that he meant to others.
Because no matter how we knew him, just knowing him was enough to help bring us together. This space is for that - a place to share the unshared photos, the stories and memories. A place to celebrate his life, and what he meant to us.
So please join us in doing just that - help each of us get to know Andrew the way you did.
For one last time, all together now...Let's GOOOOO!
